Potyomkin Stairs is considered one of the symbols of Odessa today. They were built at the end of the 19th century to create direct access from the city to the harbor and the port. The Stairs are constructed in such a way that it seems they are endless, with the perspective view and the broader stairs in the bottom. If you want to stay in the hotels near Potyomkin Stairs, you’ll also be close to the harbor and could enjoy the proximity to the sea. However, the stairs don’t lead directly to the beach. To reach the coast, such as Langeron beach, you’ll need to pass the port first.
